It was the first gig where we used film footage too and despite the upstairs bar being unavailable, leaving many of the audience gasping for a top-up, ASS duly entertained with a series of new and foody-frollicky sketches. ASS standups Nick Watkins and Rob Tollman performed to a drunken card-playing crown at the Gwent Poker Stars final held in the Golden Lion, Nantyglo. Their jokes went down as well as their free beer! Jan 3, 2009: Standup ASS In the presence of invited guests ASS went big screen for the first time when they premiered their first ever DVD with an overhead projector at The Hen and Chics.ASS: The First One included 30-minutes of purposefully filmed sketches (many of which can be found here under ASS Videos), some special outtakes and some sketches from the Haulin' Ass Tour. Apart from a few sound issues (ie. the sound in Anne Summers is 'orrible!) the team and guests were delighted with the results.
